Summary
The AANP CE Activities object stores data about internally created educational materials such as presentations, courses, and journal articles. This object is used to manage and track the accreditation of AANP's own CE content, ensuring it meets quality standards and is effectively shared with NPs. The application process helps maintain high standards for continuing education and ensures compliance with accreditation requirements.
There is no external requirement for this object, as it is used internally by AANP staff to manage CE applications and track their progress through the accreditation process. SM Apply is not used for this process.
Requirements
CE Application Management
- As an internal user, I should be able to create and manage CE applications, ensuring they are properly recorded and tracked.
- As an internal user, I should be able to update the status of CE applications, providing clear visibility of their progress.
- As an internal user, I should be able to generate unique program numbers for each application based on the current date, ensuring uniqueness across all applications.
Accreditation Process
- As an internal user, I should be able to submit CE applications for accreditation, including all necessary details and documentation.
- As an internal user, I should be able to view a log of status changes for each application, helping to track the application's history and processing time.
Program Delivery Tracking
- As an internal user, I should be able to record and manage different delivery types for CE programs, such as in-person, online, or hybrid methods.
- As an internal user, I should be able to categorize the program delivery by conference and meeting types, providing a detailed view of how the content is distributed.
Historical Data Management
- As an internal user, I should be able to maintain historical records of previous programs, including previous program IDs and associated details.
- As an internal user, I should be able to track and manage the approval and expiration dates of CE programs, ensuring compliance and timely renewals.
Reporting and Compliance
- As an internal user, I should be able to generate reports on CE hours, both approved and maximum, for each program, ensuring accurate tracking of educational content.
- As an internal user, I should be able to access audit logs of all changes and updates to CE applications, ensuring transparency and accountability.
